"Its Just Like A Miracle For Us" Click Picture For Enlarged View Click Picture For Enlarged View I received the winnower in the mail sooner than expected and after building a simple but for me, efficient stand I put it to work. Allow me to yell a big WOW! for your invention. It was unbelievable. We ran a big bag of husks and seeds in 10 minutes and here are the results -- perfectly clean seeds!!! We looked in the vacuum to see if were any seeds and couldn't find one - just husks in the vac. So I decided to run the whole thing again (you know the "don't believe it until you don't see it"...) and out of those 6 to 7 gallons that was in the vac after the first cleaning we recovered like a teaspoon of seeds. So I decided never to run the husks twice. It's just like a miracle for us. When I think back of cleaning the husks with fans and traditional machines (can't believe I was doing that) everything else is just a bad joke.   I strongly recommend this unit for every serious bird keeper -- even for those who are saying "my birds ate everything". "Thank You for a Wonderful Invention" I tend to be the type of person that if something sounds too good to be true it probably is and I will just pass it by, which is how I felt when I first came across the Seed-Saver.     I've spent more than 5 years pouring my birdseed into a bucket and a few times a month sitting in front a large box fan for up to 30 minutes sifting up to 20 pounds of it back and forth into buckets in an attempt to recycle as much seed without the chafe as possible. I finally broke down several months after finding it on the internet initially and spent what I thought was a large sum of money on your invention.  Let me just say that it is without a doubt the best investment in ANY bird accessories I have ever made.  I can now pour that same amount of seed into your Seed-Saver in less than 5 minutes and have it remove what must be 99% of the chafe...and I would have to say the 1% it doesn't remove would be due to me pouring it in too fast. I highly recommend this accessory to bird owners whether they be a pet store or independent owner of birds.  I purchase hundreds of pounds of birdseed every few months and I have to say it's more than doubled the life span of my birdseed. "Very Pleasantly Surprised" We tried the Seed-Saver today and I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised.  I expected it to "sort of " work -- especially after reading the directions that cautioned that sunflower, etc may not work well.  There were very few whole sunflower seeds in the "reject" pile to the vacuum and next to no empty hulls in the reclaimed pile.  As long as the seeds are fresh (decent moisture content) I doubt anyone will have troubles with this.    Our Seed-Saver will indeed pay for itself very quickly -- within one month for us.  By the way, I am married to an engineer who is a lot like "Mr. Wizard" and he too was very impressed with the product. "Very Impressed By The Results" I met you at the Pomona Bird Mart and bought your Seed-Saver. I've got to tell you I went home and set it up and I was very impressed by the results. As I mentioned to you I am a large colorbred canary breeder here in Southern California so I use hundreds of pounds of bird seed every year and when you dont have the proper equipment, a lot of seeds end up in the trash. "Worked perfectly.
